Description
Pilsner Urquell is a pale lager brewed in Pilsen, Czech Republic, since 1842. It is the world's first golden lager and remains the standard for over 80% of all beers today. The taste of Pilsner Urquell begins with a delicate but distinct bitterness from the use of Saaz hops, which then combines with the caramel sweetness of Pilsen malt. It is a full-bodied, flavorful, and aromatically rich beer. It is brewed in the same way, in the same place, and with the same local Czech ingredients, as always.
